A drama was presented about a little girl who was going to be in the school play as an angel. Here the dressmaker is helping her get her costume ready. The angel tells her of a "friend" who saved her money for a nice present for her brother but wants to keep it for herself. "Peace on Earth and Good will toward man".
The dressmaker is called away for a moment. And the angel goes to visit other people in the apartment complex. This couple is disagreeing on whether to visit his mom for Christmas or buy a new car. The angel visits and says her line. The couple agrees that family is more important than a car. The aunt thinks Christmas is too much fuss. The boys are disappointed there is no Christmas for them. The aunt remembers being an angel in the school play with the same line. Her heart is changed. The boys are exicted that there will be Christmas for them after all. This prima donna singer primps. She is asked to sing at the church program for free. She can't be bothered with that. She says her line for the singer The singer calls the committee to let them know she will sing, for free even. The angel goes back to the dressmaker. The angel tells the dressmaker that she feels different. And her "friend" has decided to give the good gift to her brother instead of keeping it. When asked why, it was because of the "Angel in the Looking Glass."
